IF YOU ARE SCHEDULING AN ONLINE APPOINTMENT, please schedule back-to-back appointments whenever possible to allow extra time in case there are technical issues.

Appointments cannot be scheduled or
canceled within 30 minutes of the appointment time.

Walk in appointments are welcome.

You can find our website, which also includes "tip sheet" materials at:

UPDATE ACCOUNT:  If you have not updated your information after August 1, 2019, you will be asked to do so before you can make an appointment. This helps us keep better records in order to best serve you.

Trained tutors - or coaches as we like to call ourselves - welcome writing questions whether they are simple or involved. The CWE's goal is to assist students in achieving the communication skills needed to express themselves clearly and successfully at the University and beyond. We provide help to students at any step of the writing process and we assist with all types of writing. We accept walk-ins or appointments; however, it is always better to schedule an appointment to guarantee the availability of a writing coach.
